Art-Reach is excited to host the 4th annual Cultural Accessibility Conference from September 20-22, 2022!

This online conference engages professionals to establish a better understanding of accessibility and inclusion within their art, culture, and public garden networks. The conference covers topics that will help organizations build tools, knowledge, and an international network of allies and resources. Sessions engage variable learners and celebrate inclusive learning methods – drawing attention to how this work brings joy, fulfillment, and purpose to our lives.

Many of our presenters tried new things in 2021 and braved new territory for their organizations. By building stronger ties to diverse communities and partnerships, these presenters deeply impacted colleagues and stakeholders. We cannot wait to share these sessions with you!

Our conference opens with a Keynote conversation with Emily Ladau, author of Demystifying Disability: What to Know, What to Say, And How to be an Ally, sharing wisdom into her lived experience and advocacy. Podcast, On-Demand, and Live Sessions will release throughout the three days with opportunities to ask questions and network. The conference will also highlight leadership, inviting artist and founder of BACKBONES, Reveca Torres to present the Call to Action! for the 2022-2023 year ahead.

Content After the Conference: Conference attendees will have exclusive access to additional materials and networking opportunities to guide attendees as they implement their discoveries. All sessions will be recorded and the conference recordings and materials will be available for 30 days.

Scholarships: Art-Reach continues its legacy of removing barriers to access and we recognize the need to expand access networks to communities of untapped potential. Scholarships are available through an application. Click Here to Apply for a Conference Scholarship.

Accessibility: All speakers and sessions both live and recorded will have ASL Interpreters, Captioning, and embedded audio description. PDF Materials will be made available, ahead of sessions for attendees with accessible formatting.

Sponsorship: We recognize that financial hardship, poverty, or education status is often a barrier to professional development, and with your support we can make available hundreds of scholarships for attendees. Help us fulfill our commitment to our community.
