Art-Reach’s Core Programs are designed to provide a variety of artistic experiences, from attendance at live arts events and museums, to on-site interactive workshops and performances. These programs are geared to the full spectrum of underserved audiences in our community. Our programs in 2013-2014 extend beyond arts patronage and focus on the following:

Art-Reach’s Ticketing Program distributes deeply discounted tickets to performing arts venues, museums and other cultural institutions to Art-Reach Member Organizations. Our members include but are not limited to, human service agencies, schools, residences and support groups that serve people with disabilities and/or economic disadvantages.

Live Arts Ticketing

These are discounted tickets to a variety of music, dance and theater events for children and adults.

Museum Ticketing

Museum ticketing includes discounted admission opportunities to a variety of museums, gardens and historic sites for guided and self-guided experience.

The Encore program delivers extended, interactive, and enriching artistic workshops to members. These meaningful and inspiring experiences are offered in many different forms and customized to our member’s needs. They can be created to complement ticketed activities, as single-session or multi-session workshops or as residencies, deepening artistic engagement and fostering educational exploration.

Encore Events

touch tours, backstage experiences, artist workshops at arts venues – all examples of encore experiences.

Art experiences at the members’ location, designed for groups for whom transportation is a barrier to cultural engagement, ARt-Reach will provide visiting artists to bring the arts to our members.

Philadelphia Cultural Accessibility Peer Group (PCAP) is a new initiative driven by Art-Reach. PCAP brings cultural organizations together who are focused on improving their venue’s accessibility to learn from one another as well as regional and national experts in the field. For more info, visit PCAP page.

ACCESS Cardholders (those Pennsylvania residents who monitor their government issued cash, food, or medical benefits with an EBT card), are invited to visit participating museums, science centers, gardens, historic sites and attractions for just $2. Similar to the reduced admission offered to students, senior citizens, and military professionals when showing proper identification, ACCESS cardholders will be able to do the same. Thirty one local cultural venues are on board, and excitedly awaiting your visit. To learn more about them, visit the “Museum Partners” page to the left!

*NOTE: Visitors must present a valid ACCESS Card along with a photo ID to receive the discount. One (1) ACCESS Card admits the cardholder and up to three (3) family members at a rate of $2 per person. Admission is to be paid by the visitor, not through their EBT funds. The ACCESS Admission discount is not valid on special exhibitions or features, or with any other offer or group rate.

ACCESS Admission is a city-wide initiative led by Art-Reach, supported by various community partners, and proudly sponsored by the Dolfinger McMahon Foundation, Fels Printing, Henrietta Tower Wurts Memorial, Lindback Foundation and PECO.
