Museum: Philadelphia Zoo
The Philadelphia Zoo’s 42-acre Victorian garden is home to more than 1,300 animals, many of them rare and endangered. The Zoo, fulfilling its mission of conservation, science, education and recreation, supports and engages in conservation efforts to protect endangered species around the world. The Zoo has more than 1,300 rare and endangered animals, and its attendance is approximately 1.1 million visitors a year. Visitors can take guided tours by the Zoo’s highly trained volunteer educators who are eager to share their knowledge and offer a wide range of topics from which to choose.
March 1st through October 31st: Monday through Sunday, 9:30am to 5:00pm
November 1st through February 28th: Monday through Sunday, 9:30am to 4:00pm
