Hours: Open daily 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., except Christmas Day.
Admission: Adults $8; Senior citizens & children 6-12 $5; Free for children under 6 & members.
General Description: Exhibiting American art in a 19th century grist mill, Brandywine River Museum is internationally known for its collection of works by three generations of Wyeths and of American illustration, still life and landscape painting.
Access Information: Advance notice recommended for special tours or accommodations. Call ext. 8366 for information and group reservations.
B/VI: Live audio descriptions and guided tours available by reservation. Call to make arrangements.
WC/MI: A ramped entrance is available on the riverside of the museum into the lower level—assistance is available at the entrance and may be required. Reserved paved parking spaces are located on the riverside of the parking lot.
Public Transportation/Directions: From Philadelphia, take I-95 south to Route 322 west. Follow 322 west to US Route 1 South, go 3 ˝ miles to the Museum, which is on the left just past the intersection with Creek Road.
