Hours: Tuesday -Saturday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.; Sunday 12 p.m.- 5 p.m.; Closed Monday & major holidays.
Admission: Children, seniors 55 +, students with ID and individuals with disabilities $4. Adults $6
General Description: Dedicated to collecting, preserving and interpreting the material and intellectual culture of African Americans through public programming: exhibition themes are expanded/explored through workshops, concerts, films, dance performance, and storytelling.
Access Information: Two weeks advance notice required for special tours or accessible seating for events.
   
B/VI: Guided tours for the blind/visually impaired may be scheduled.
D/HH: Sign Language interpretation is provided upon request for group tours-call 2 weeks in advance to make arrangements.
WC/MI: A wheelchair is available for use if needed. Call in advance to make arrangements.
Public Transportation/Directions: Located one block from Independence National Historical Park and five blocks from the Philadelphia Convention Center. Take rail or SEPTA bus routes 17, 33, 38, 44, 47, 48, or 61. Call for driving directions.
