Art-Reach is committed to increasing accessibility throughout our region. As such, we strive to make our website, as well as all our programs, embracive of the most accessible technology and language available.

Art-Reach works to meet all guidelines set forth in both the Americans With Disabilities Act and, as amended, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act states that "no otherwise qualified individual with a disability in the United States ... shall, solely by reason of her or his disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance or under any program or activity conducted by any Executive agency or by the United States Postal Service."


The more recently enacted Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which was revised in 1998, requires that all federal organizations and organizations receiving federal funding develop, maintain, or procure electronic or information technology that is accessible to federal employees and members of the public with disabilities.
