Art-Reach's Ambassador (Volunteer) Program


We depend on trained, dedicated people who want to help people experience the arts. Ambassadors support our administrative work, Ticketing, In-Facility, and our annual Jazz Brunch event.

Sara was the recipient of Art-Reach's first Ambassador of the Year Award in 2008.

 

Ambassador Tracks
Whatever your availability or where your interests lie, the Art-Reach Ambassador Program has a track to suit your needs. Based on your availability and interests, we place you where you are best suited. You may choose to serve in more than one track.

Episodic Track: perfect for individuals with limited time availability

Administrative Track: great if you like to work in office settings

Special Projects Track: includes leadership opportunities or writing

Host Track Ambassadors: greet and guide audiences through visits to theatres and museums.

Internship Track: encompasses all of the opportunies above and allows you to participate in every aspect of Art-Reach.

Marlene describes props during a sensory tour. Marlene is a Special Projects Ambassador.

Marlene describes props during a sensory tour. Sensory tours happen prior to show time and enable people who are blind to feel items used during a performance so their experience is heightened when they listen to the audio description as the show occurs. Marlene is a Special Projects Ambassador.
