Art-Reach's Ambassador Program

We depend upon trained, dedicated individuals who care about helping people of all ages and circumstances experience the arts. Volunteers support Art-Reach's administrative work as well as special events and our Ticketing, In-Facility, and Workshop programs; and our annual Jazz Brunch event.

Appreciating Your Time, Talents and Interests
Upon being accepted into the program and completing training, Art-Reach Ambassadors help represent us to the greater Philadelphia community. Tasks of Ambassadors vary by individual; reflecting their availability, talents and interests. Typical assignments might include accompanying an Art-Reach audience to a theatre or museum, interning for college credit or work experience, working alongside artists and staff during Art-Reach workshops, leading special projects, preparing mass mailings, or collecting auction items for fundraising.

The strongest attribute of the Ambassador Program is that our program is structured to accommodate different time commitments and interests. Using 5 tracks to assess your availability and interests, we place you where you are best suited to ensure your volunteer experience with us is positive and rewarding. Individuals may choose to serve in more than one track with Art-Reach. Whatever your availability or wherever your interests lie, the Art-Reach Ambassador Program has a track to suit your needs.

Time commitment and tasks are up to the Ambassador's choosing based on their interest and track. The Episodic Track is perfect for indivudals with limited time availability, the Administrative Track is well suited for those who like to work in office settings, the Special Projects Track serves to provide leadership experience to those interested in managing projects, while in the Host Track indivduals greet and guide theatre and museum audiences through their visits. Finally, the Internship Track encompasses all of these opportunies and allows individuals the opportunity to participate in every aspect of Art-Reach.

Ambassadors work on the front lines of events and programs to connect with the individuals experiencing the arts, our funders, the public, and our Arts Partners. Ambassabors come from a variety of colleges and community organizations such as Villanova, Temple University, Business Volunteers for the Arts (B.V.A.) and Business On-Call programs at the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia, as well as from a variety of corporations and concerned citizens.

It is imperative that Ambassadors train and embrace Art-Reach’s mission as well as maintain standards of impeccable customer service. We look for Ambassadors who are enthusiastic about the arts and willing to make a commitment to the underserved individuals whom we engage. We believe that exposure to the arts has the power to enlighten, inspire, and change lives. If you share the same philosophy, please consider applying to become an Art-Reach Ambassador.
