Art-Reach’s
Last year’s Brunch took place on Sunday, November 4th, 2007 at the Grand Ballroom at the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue. Over 300 patrons attended the event, at which we celebrated the 1930s French Jazz theme of “Le Jazz Hot,” a vibrant period in which French-Jazz troupes like “Quintette du Hot Club de France” and Josephine Baker were popular. In addition to featuring elegant French cuisine and festive decorations, the Jazz Brunch also included a silent auction of travel, entertainment and cultural packages, and live French jazz music.
Art-Reach's 2007 Commitment to Cultural Access Honorees were Hon. Phyllis W. Beck, Chair of the Independence Foundation, and NewCourtland Elder Services. The Honorary Chairs for the event were Elizabeth Gemmill and Susan Sherman and the Event Co-Chairs were June Deponte and Karen E. Feeney.
