Ken Kaplan
Interactive storyteller/musician with wide range of stories, comedy, song and movement for all ages ("The Three Little Pigs," folk tales, kid rap, C.S. Lewis' "Narnia" tale). Availability: flexible.
Oni Lasana
Oni Lasana Adventures in Poetry & Storytelling - Oni takes you back in time with humurous and dramatic storytelling such as "Lias' Mother", "Down on the Farm with Granny Goose" and "Dunbar Today!" programs that feature the poetry and folktales of Paul Laurence Dunbar. "Harriet Tubman, Her Story" is a dramatic historical interpretation that tells in the first person the life of the most fearless woman in American history. Availibilty: flexible
Tahira
Storytelling. Performances include stories, songs and poetry which address critical life skill issues such as respect for individuality, appreciating differences, and cross-cultural awareness. Programs include audience participation, sing-a-longs, call and response and instrument demonstration. Availability: flexible.
Griselda Thomas
African American heritage storytelling. Programs include audience participation, call and response in the form of singing, question and answer, and movement arts (dance). Availability: Summer Months Only. Performance requires an attentive audience.
Lisa Wolfe
Storytelling and music for younger children (pre-school - 4th grade). Stories about friendship, multicultural issues. Program includes story, question and answer period, an introduction to simple percussion instruments and song-writing. Availability flexible.
